Worn out doors cause frustration and waste time every time a plane needs to reach the runway. Many of the original ‘concrete counterweight tilt-up’ type doors from the 1960s at this airport were failing. The owners needed to keep full under-truss height clearance, which isn’t possible with bifold, fabric or panel-type doors.
The two hangars pictured are surrounded by others with PowerLift doors. They have, respectively, 47’ x 12’ and 54’ x 14’ outside mount doors, so zero headroom loss.
We can replace your older hangar door or doors, while increasing both clear opening width and height with our outside mount system which is unique in the industry.
